Requirements
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Level 1 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technicians who are eager to learn and grow in the field. As a Level 1 NDT Technician, you will support our team in conducting inspections and tests using various methods such as Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), or Visual Testing (VT). This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and contribute to ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting NDT inspections utilizing methods such as RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT.
Aid in the preparation and setup of testing equipment following established procedures and specifications.
Participate in tests and examinations on materials, components, and structures under supervision.
Support in interpreting and evaluating test results to identify potential defects or abnormalities.
Assist in accurately documenting inspection results, including writing reports and maintaining records.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with team members, clients, and engineers to address any issues or concerns arising from inspections.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to uphold accuracy and reliability standards.
Adhere strictly to safety procedures and protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and methodologies.
High attention to detail and a strong desire to learn and develop in the field.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to safety and willingness to adhere to safety protocols.
NAS 410 Level 1 Certification (preferred, but not required).
Experience or coursework in a related field is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
NAS 410 Level 2 Certifications (advantageous for career progression).
Familiarity with advanced NDT techniques and equipment.
Basic knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards.
